Plumbing Home Center is a licensed, insured
and bonded company that has been servicing the Tri-Valley
area for over 20 years. Established in 1982, we have grown
from a family-owned business to a corporation with
the same family feeling. Our company's motto "Integrity
Before Profit", leads us in hiring people that
care about their work and finished work performance.
We service the complete Tri-Valley area for homeowners,
property managers, insurance adjusters and commercial
businesses. Our customers remember us and more importantly
refer us to their friends, neighbors and business associates.
Our company performs a variety of simple plumbing
services, from unclogging toilets and drains to repairing
water and gas leaks. We also perform repairs to plumbing
fixtures or install new fixtures. We are certified
to perform annual backflow testing and repairs. Below
are brief descriptions of the services we can perform
for you.
Service Calls
Our service rate is $124.50 per hour. If a service call
extends beyond a one-hour time frame, we charge by
fifteen-minute increments. Unlike other plumbing companies,
we do not charge a flat fee or "book rate"
for a specific repair. We will only charge for
the service call, additional time (if over the one-hour
service call) and materials (including sales tax)
it takes to complete the job. Some jobs require an
additional set of hands, for this a plumbing "helper"
will be charged out at $67.25 per hour.
Sales Floor
Our knowledgeable staff can assist in locating a needed
part for your "do-it-yourself projects".
We carry plumbing supplies and can place special orders
with many reputable companies. We offer displays of
lavie and kitchen faucets, showerheads, toilets, vanities,
shower fixtures and special-order catalogs for your
viewing. Our shop is open from Monday thru Friday
9am.-5pm. Saturday 9am.-4pm. We are closed on Sundays
and holidays.
Bathroom Remodels
Along with repair services, we offer bathroom remodels,
from simple updating plumbing fixtures to getting
an entire new look. With our licenses in plumbing
and general contracting, we can perform all the services
needed to coordinate your project. Our company policy
is to start a remodel once all materials have arrived
eliminating "down time". Most remodels once
begun will take approximately 1-2 weeks for completion,
depending on the scope of work that is requested.
Backflow Installation & Testing
We provide annual testing as required. We also do
repairs and replacement of new units of any size.
Annual tests are performed for a fee of $64.50 and
$129.00 for fire line tests. AWWA # 6407
